Lockdown Creatives 2021

As we are unable to meet physically with our participants we have partnered with Inspiring Arts to deliver a series of online workshops.

Working through zoom the project delivers weekly sessions bringing together participants from our Many Directions Theatre Company together with participants from Get Changed, in Okehampton and Limelight in Tiverton. In addition to the weekly two hour drama and dance session we also run smaller weekly group sessions where participants can choose to focus on one art form; dance, music and film.

The projects offers participants the opportunity to connect with each other, share ongoing experiences during this challenging time and meet new people.

We cant quite replace the experience of devising and creating in a physical space but keeping our participants connected, active and thinking creatively is vital to helping us support wellbeing at this time.

Our specialist international practitioner Jon Nicholas is delivering zoom sessions to participants from the Norwegian branch of the Red Cross on Team Building.

Jon works with partcipants to explore themes around identity and communication and behaviour and roles.
